About Bryti
Bryti is a family dinner planner. It plans your weekly dinners based on your calendar and creates a matching shopping list. After you shop, add your receipts so Bryti can keep track of what you already have at home. Why we make Bryti
Bryti is made by Bjørn Bråthen in Drammen, Norway, first of all for his own family. Dinner should get decided, and the shopping list should be right. What's in the fridge should be eaten before it has to be thrown out.Bryti is one person and a few good tools, not a company with a call centre. You'll notice that when you get in touch. If you have a question, an idea or something that broke, write to hei@bryti.app. A person reads it.Why is it called Bryti?
Bryti is Old Norse for the steward of a farm or a household. The word comes from “brytja,” which means to cut up and distribute food. That’s what Bryti does in your home: it decides dinner and shares out the meals for the week.Source: “brytje” in Store norske leksikon, the Norwegian encyclopedia

NutritionBryti works out what a dinner holds from Matvaretabellen 2026. Mattilsynet. www.matvaretabellen.no. The figures were fetched once and built into the app. They are good enough to compare two dinners, but not to follow a diet by.
