Price

1. Is Bryti free?

Reading a receipt costs credits too, and so does importing a recipe from a photo, a link or pasted text. Everything else in the app is free. Superhero costs 99 kr per month, and Legend is 149 kr per month.

3. Can the whole family share one subscription?

Yes, the subscription is for the whole household, so everyone shares the credits. Any adult in the household can choose the plan.

4. Is there a minimum term?

No, there is no minimum term. You can cancel anytime. Your cancellation will start from the next period, and you keep access to what you've already paid for until then.

How it works

5. What does Bryti actually do?

Bryti suggests dinners for the week based on your house rules and what you already have in your cupboard. It also creates your shopping list, keeping separate what you already have at home.

6. Is there a Bryti app?

Bryti isn't in the app stores yet. For now, you can use it in your browser on your phone or computer. The first families are testing the iPhone and Android apps, and they'll be available in the stores once they're ready.

7. Can I start today?

Currently, new families need a code to join. You can join the waitlist today, and Bryti will email you a code when it's your turn.

8. Does Bryti decide for us?

No, Bryti doesn't decide for you. When Bryti suggests something in the chat, you get a card to accept or decline. This is how the “Ask first, every time” setting works, and it's enabled from the start.

9. Where do the recipes come from?

Some recipes, like Grandma's fish cakes, you can add yourself by typing them in, or by using a link or a photo. The rest are Bryti's own or come from open collections like USDA MyPlate Kitchen and Wikibooks. Each recipe shows its source and licence.

Family and children

10. Does Bryti take allergies into account?

Yes. If you enter an allergy, the planner checks the ingredients in every dish. Any dish with that allergen won't be included for the week. However, always check the packaging yourself to be sure.

11. Can the children use Bryti?

Yes, children can use Bryti once they are 13. They can have their own Junior account, see everything, and check items off the list. If a Junior requests something in the chat, it becomes a card that an adult needs to approve.

Privacy

12. Do you sell our data?

No, your data is never sold or used to train anyone else's model. You can download or delete all your data yourself in the settings.

13. What happens to the photo of the receipt?

Bryti deletes the photo after it has been read, and always within 30 days. The information from the photo, like each purchase, stays in your pantry for 180 days.
