Terms of use
Last updated 8 October 2026.This agreement sets out the terms between your household and Bryti. Read closely what you need to check yourselves before serving food, and the conditions that apply once you pay.Who you’re dealing with
Bjørn Bråthen develops Bryti in Drammen, Norway. Before payment becomes available, this section will name the company. Its organisation number and postal address will be here too. You can reach him at hei@bryti.app.What Bryti is
Bryti plans dinners for your whole household. It builds the week around who’s eating at home and what’s already in the cupboard, while following your house rules. Bryti writes the shopping list from the plan. You can make requests in the chat in your own words. Bryti is available at bryti.app and in the app.Who can use Bryti
You must be 18 or over to create a household or pay for Bryti. The creator becomes the household owner and manages membership. Any adult household member may purchase or cancel the subscription.Children aged 13 and over can have their own login as junior members. Juniors can chat and use most of the app. They can’t buy anything, change the household or cancel the subscription. Younger children are included in the household without a login. Adults are responsible for children's activities in Bryti.Your account is personal, while the household is shared among its members. Do not allow others to sign in as you. If you suspect someone has, email hei@bryti.app.Plans and credits
The Free plan costs nothing and includes monthly credits, plus a welcome bundle that lasts until you’ve used it up. Superhero and Legend are paid plans with more credits. Details and pricing are at bryti.app/pricing, and the amount is shown on the button before you confirm.A credit is what one task with Bryti costs, such as a chat reply or planning the week. Credits last one month from your subscription start date and don’t roll over. Bryti tells you when they run out. You can wait for the next month, or upgrade your plan once payment opens. You can view and change the week plan and the shopping list by hand without spending credits. The same goes for the pantry.Paying and cancelling
Payment isn’t open yet. Once it opens, this section applies. So does the one on your right to cancel. You pay through Stripe, and the receipt arrives by email. Your subscription renews each month on the date it started. Upgrading to a bigger plan takes effect straight away, and you pay only the difference for the rest of the month. Downgrades take effect the following month. You can cancel at any time under “Manage subscription”. Cancelling takes effect from the next period, and you keep what you’ve paid for until the month ends. Afterwards, your household moves to the Free plan, and everything you’ve added stays where it is.If Bryti changes its pricing, you will receive an email notification at least 30 days in advance. If you do not wish to accept the new price, you may cancel before it takes effect.Your right to cancel within 14 days
When you buy a subscription online, you have 14 days to change your mind. The 14 days start on the day you bought it.By paying, you ask Bryti to start straight away, so you can use the new credits the same day. If you cancel within 14 days, you get your money back, minus a share for the days you had the subscription. To cancel, email hei@bryti.app from the address on your account. You can also use the Norwegian Consumer Authority’s cancellation form. Bryti refunds you within 14 days of getting your message, using the payment method you used.Answers and numbers are estimates
Many of Bryti’s answers come from a language model and rules that give their best estimate. This applies to chat replies, dinner suggestions, shopping list prices, recipe amounts, pantry shelf life, and nutrition details. Any of these can be wrong, sometimes completely wrong. Whenever Bryti shows a number, it tells you it might not be accurate. You check for yourselves
Before you shop, cook, or serve, check allergens, amounts, prices, and shelf life yourselves. Bryti does not give health or nutrition advice and is not a substitute for a doctor, public health nurse, or clinical dietitian. Bryti’s notes on allergens and baby food are help, not a guarantee. The same goes for shelf life. If anyone has allergies or intolerances, or if you are cooking for young children, always read the packaging. If you are unsure, ask a health professional. Your household is responsible for what you serve. What you add
The recipes you add are yours. So are your photos and receipts. You permit Bryti to store and use them to provide the service, such as for weekly planning. Bryti does not sell your data or use it to train language models for third parties.A recipe you bring in from a website is for your own household’s use. Only add photos and text you have the right to use. Some of what you add, such as prices from receipts, can go into anonymous averages. You can switch this on or off in the settings. The notice “How Bryti handles your data” explains what Bryti stores, for how long, and how to export or delete all of it. It applies together with these terms. The service
Bryti will change over time, with features added or removed. The service may sometimes be unavailable, whether planned or not.Bryti may close accounts that misuse the service or harm other households. This includes trying to get into another household’s data, or using automated calls instead of the app. What Bryti is responsible for
Bryti should work the way these terms and bryti.app describe it. If it doesn’t, you have every right Norwegian consumer law gives you. Nothing in these terms takes any of those rights away.Bryti isn’t liable for a loss caused by a wrong estimate you didn’t check yourself. Nor is it liable for indirect losses. Neither limit applies if Bryti acted with gross negligence or on purpose.Leaving
You can delete your account at any time under “Your data”. Export your data first if you want to keep it. If you’re the only one in a household with a subscription, cancel it under “Manage subscription” before you delete your account. If you own a household that others still use, make one of them the owner or remove the others before you delete your account. Once your account is deleted, everything that is only yours is gone within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment receipts for as long as Norwegian bookkeeping law requires.Changes to these terms
Bryti may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is to your disadvantage, you’ll get an email at least 30 days before it applies. You can then cancel before the new terms take effect.App Store and Google Play
The iPhone and Android apps are not yet available in app stores. Once released, these terms will apply to them as well. Subscriptions are purchased at bryti.app, not through app stores. If you download Bryti from the App Store, Apple’s standard licence terms for apps also apply. Apple isn’t responsible for Bryti and doesn’t support it. The Google Play listing links to these terms and the privacy notice.Disagreements and contact
Norwegian law applies. If you and Bryti disagree, email hei@bryti.app and Bryti will try to sort it out with you. If that doesn’t work, you can complain to the Norwegian Consumer Council. The case can then go to the Consumer Complaints Committee. You can also take it to the district court where you live. For questions about your data, email personvern@bryti.app.
